How do you survive for 7 days if you find yourself marooned in a mountainous region in the winter?

Maybe I watch too many TV shows like Hanna. But I've always wondered if I could survive for 7 days, 14 days, if I found myself alone and marooned in winter conditions in the mountains. I'm sure it all depends on how high the elevation, also. But what are some practical things I would need to survive the experience, or even have a chance at surviving it?
